Nếu như Boyhood là câu chuyện được thực hiện suốt 12 năm đem lại những khoảng lặng để khán giả chiêm nghiệm về cuộc sống thì The Grand Budapest Hotel là cuộc phiêu lưu rực rỡ qua cách kể của đạo diễn Wes Anderson. Còn Birdman lại khắc họa sâu sắc những suy tư, trăn trở của một diễn viên trên con đường tìm lại ánh hào quang đã mất.
Birdman đang là bộ phim ấn tượng nhất với 9 đề cử ở nhiều hạng mục quan trọng.
